Erosion and sediment control is an important part of how we protect the environment. Sedimentation (the settling of material carried by wind and water in to our waterways) can destroy fish habitat and affect our water supply, infrastructure, flood control, navigation and recreational activities.
LandLoc has worked with the City of Calgary and Stantec for the past year on a pilot project to utilize EcoAnchor for Erosion and Sediment Control (ESC). After almost a year of environmental, performance studies and field trials we are happy to say that EcoAnchor has been approved for Best Management Practices for Erosion and Sediment Control for Land Development in Calgary.
